Lisa MacLeod, USA

Lisa’s passion is global education for our younger people. That’s why she’s proud to be a leading member of our team at Lisa is a former 2nd Grade Teacher at Morikami Park Elementary IB World School. She has been extensively trained, and experienced, in the IB PYP Programme by the International Baccalaureate Organization®. She has over 16 years of classroom teaching experience including Team Leader, New Teacher Mentor and Workshop Creator/ Presenter on “Surviving Your First Year of Teaching”. Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BAE from Florida Atlantic University with a Florida Teacher Certification grades 1-6 with ESOL Endorsement. Through Substitute Teaching and Volunteering she continues to stay active in the school community. She has worked with students at all ability levels, from grades Pre-K through Grade 5. She is also the proud author of “My Primary Years Reflection Journal“- a specialized printed student journal that exhaustively conforms to IB pedagogy.

Sue M. Gwilliam, Switzerland
MCLIP, IB Librarian, Accreditation Officer & Library Advocate

Sue is an IB trained Librarian and a Chartered Member of CILIP (the UK professional association). As Library Advocate on the IBLibrary team, she brings a wealth of experience from many library sectors and now specializes in school libraries. As a Head of Department in an international senior school, Sue managed a library serving a multi-lingual ESL student body representing 42 nationalities and following a variety of programmes. Recently she has moved to an international, bilingual Prep. school, in a dual role as Librarian and Accreditation Officer. She has expertise in Council of International Schools (CIS) & NEASC whole-school accreditation – which includes ensuring libraries meet the standards set for membership of these two esteemed organisations. As Chair of the ‘CIS & NEASC Re-accreditation Steering Committee’ at a prestigious Swiss school, she successfully lead her colleagues through a four year school-improvement process. Her philosophy is that libraries foster international-mindedness, through the provision of carefully selected resources and opportunities for global connections. Based in Switzerland, Sue loves to connect with peers from around the world to find collaborative opportunities in education.

Bianca Koster, China
Vice Principal, IB PYP Coordinator, Teacher Contributor & Advisor

Bianca Koster is originally from the Netherlands. She has taught various programmes in the Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles (Curacao) and USA. Bianca was the Principal of the Dutch School in Ghana and worked as an educational consultant in the Netherlands Antilles and Ghana.
For the last five years Bianca has been at Changsha WES Academy, an IB PYP World School in China, where she is the vice principal, founding PYP Coordinator, and teaching Early Years-grade 1.

Bianca is a qualified Dutch elementary teacher, has a post-graduate Diploma in Pedagogy and an MA in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State University, New York, USA. Besides these qualifications, she has an extended Curriculum Vitae with a wide variety of courses and trainings. Bianca has also led various educational projects and presented workshops in the Caribbean, USA, Ghana and China.

Rachel McLeod, Australia
IB PYP Coordinator, Teacher Contributor & Advisor

Rachel comes from Melbourne, Australia. She gained her Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and most recently her Masters in Educational Leadership from Deakin University. She has taught overseas at International schools for nearly 15 years. Rachel has taught students from a range of age levels including Pre-K, Grade 1, Grade 2, ESL, and for the past 9 years she has worked in the role of PYP Coordinator. Rachel is passionate about student learning – she cares deeply about what students are taught, how they learn and what students then do as a result of their learning. This passion aligns perfectly with the philosophy and approach of the Primary Years Programme. Rachel has helped several schools with their PYP journey from the consideration phase to the evaluation visit. She is an IB educator who is qualified for IB site visits and IB consultancy. Rachel has worked in China for the past 10 years, where both of her children were born. Rachel and her family will soon be departing Asia and will be heading to Eastern Europe where Rachel will continue in her role as a PYP Coordinator. She will be assisting her new school with their upcoming IB Evaluation visit.

Tiziana Ciccone, USA
Reggio Emilia, Montessori Advisor, Teacher Contributor, Author

Tiziana is the Founder, President & Curriculum Director of Reggio Kids. She graduated from Humber College with Honors in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Developmental Delays. Adding to her education, she earned a Montessori Teaching Diploma. Tiziana has over 30 years of experience working with children and their families and has been the Executive Director of several preschools. Since 1997, her efforts have been directed toward studying the Reggio Emilia Approach, fascinated by its unique pedagogy and deep respect for the child as a participant in the learning process. Exploring this approach, she joined an American Study Tour to the preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy in 2003 and then again in 2011. She has traveled throughout North America and abroad to in her research. In 2013, Tiziana joined the education faculty at Centennial College, teaching students about the Reggio Approach. She has acted as a program consultant for other schools, developing curriculum with a strong emphasis on the learning environment. Adding to her accomplishments, Tiziana is now a children’s book author. She currently has six books published, and many more on the way.

Meenakshi Chadha, India

Meenakshi Chadha is in Delhi, India. She holds an MBA degree with dual specialization in Human Resource and Marketing. She is the proud mother of a 4 year old daughter, Anshika. Anshika loves gardening and animals. She has a keen interest in Science. She wants to become a veterinary physician when she grows up.
